Harmful substances in the production of silicon carbide
Silicon carbide will produce harmful substances in the production process, but what harmful substances will there be? I analyzed it briefly for reference only!
The harmful substances in the production process of silicon carbide mainly include the following categories:
1. Atmospheric pollutants: dust, soot, carbon monoxide (small amount), carbon dioxide (large amount), depending on the impurities contained in the raw materials used, it may also contain sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and so on.
2. Water pollution: It is mainly due to high salinity. If there are farmland and lakes nearby, and the factory area treats sewage mainly in the form of external discharge, the pollution can be imagined.
3. Light pollution: The ignition process is required in the production process, that is, the smelting furnace body is burned in the open air, and there is a flare. If the neighborhood is a residential area, it will affect the residents' daily rest. However, air pollution is the main problem. As far as the damage is concerned, depending on the wind direction of the plant site, such smelting projects are not allowed to be established now. They are state-restricted projects.
